Background info on this artwork: I woke up early on day two of our trip to the disarming sound of a change in the water soundtrack. I detected a shift. I stayed in my tent for a while, not wanting to see what that change looked like. Running a small, free-flowing stream carries a fundamental risk -- losing your flow. I eventually coaxed myself out with the promise of coffee either way, and did in fact observe a smaller river. But there was still a line through it. I made my coffee, grabbed my art stuff, and wandered off. I found a small varnished wall and focused my thoughts on creating something rather than how the river may or may not be drying up.
Unframed artwork is packaged to ensure its safe arrival to you. Note: most of my art is not standard sizes (for better or worse), making 'custom' framing necessary.
Framed artwork includes a frame of your choice and a single mat of your choice. If you choose the Framed option, I will contact you via email to get your preferences.
